  • Trinity Park United Methodist is hosting a book club style event based on the Left Behind series on Sunday evenings at 6:30. This is not a Bible study – these books are fiction.  We are NOT going to delve into end-times prophecy and try to analyze the symbols and language. We ARE going to read the books together and discuss the impact that the story is having on our lives, and the impact it should be having on how we interact with those around us. There is no cost involved for the sessions.  Discussion materials will be provided, but the books themselves are not.

  • FOOD PANTRY SUNDAY is Sunday, November 2nd.  Bring canned food or dry food items, or paper products, to put in the box in the foyer.  You may also make a cash donation using the small brown pew envelopes.  With unemployment and rising gas and food prices, the Food Pantry is a lifeline for many Hancock County families.

  • The Men's Breakfast group has resumed meeting on Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. The group meets at Carol's Cornerstone Cafe on Main Street in Greenfield. Men of all ages are welcome to attend for fellowship and a hearty breakfast. For more information, contact Gene Crider.
  • A new Adult Bible Study is starting on Thursday, November 6th at 9:30 a.m. The study will be led by Rev. Manning and will be on the book of Romans. Anyone interested in being a part of the study can sign up at the welcome center. The study will finish in mid-April. Attending a Bible study is a great way for adults of all ages get to know each other in a friendly setting. Bible study can be insightful and fun and there are always yummy snacks!

  • It's Angel Tree time again! We will partner with Prison Fellowship to purchase Christmas gifts for children whose incarcerated parents have asked for help. Volunteers will be needed soon to contact the children's caregivers families, purchase the requested gifts, organize and confirm delivery times and deliver gifts. Please contact Krista Bump, if you would like to participate in this very popular program.

  • Keep up-to-date on the Family Life Center construction through our new construction blog. Mike and Phil will be keeping us updated on the latest happenings around the church through the new blog. To find out what's happening at Trinity Park check out the construction progress blog.

  • Recycling ~ At the Welcome Center, there is a box for recycling inkjet cartridges from printers made by Lexmark, Compaq, Canon and Hewlett-Packard. Please no Epson cartridges. Laser printer cartridges cannot be recycled here. Trinity Park will receive a small compensation for each cartridge and the money will be used for mission projects. Aluminum cans may be recycled in Gibbs Hall. Proceeds from the collection helps support our youth group. Pop can tabs are collected for the Ronald McDonald House in a separate container. Thanks for your support and helping take care of God's creation.

  • Remember to submit your Campbell's soup labels for McCurdy School in New Mexico and Henderson Settlement in Kentucky to the church office. Labels from Franco-American, Pace, Prego, Swanson, V-8 and Pepperidge Farms products are also accepted.

  • Have you ever considered being a Sunday School teacher, especially for youth classes? If you are interested in teaching children 5th grade and up, please contact Rev. Manning. The commitment to teach can be long-term or short-term and teaching materials are provided. This is a chance for you to have a great impact on kids' lives - so prayerfully consider this opportunity.
