Both Level Up (grades 5-8) and Senior High (grades 9-12) meet in the Youth Room.  Enter door 6 in the back of the church and proceed upstairs.

2018 Changes

1.  Youth for Level Up and High School will now meet on all Sundays from 4:00-6:00pm, excluding  holidays and special events.  A part of this gathering will still include small group discussions that will be broken down by ages or gender.

2.  There will be 2 Wednesdays per month from 6:30-8:30pm for Level Up and High School to come together for something a bit different.  It will involve a meal, but will also include a little more in depth Bible study, along with varied activities to help students develop their faith in new ways.

What are some of the reasons for this change?

1.  Help to ease the transition for 8th graders into high school.

2.  Wednesdays are getting more “full” in students’ schedules.

3.  Increase the unity within both age groups and provide leadership opportunities for older students.

4.  Help parents connect to a Faith Group. A faith group for parents currently meets at 4:00pm on Sundays for any parents that would like to join while their teen is at youth group.

5.  MORE OPTIONS for growth for each age:

High School goes from 4 options a month (Wednesdays only) to 6 (4 Sundays + 2 Wednesdays)

Level Up goes from 2 options a month (2 Sundays) to 6 options (4 Sundays + 2 Wednesdays)

Why are you called Connexion?

ConnexionLogo Because Connexion represents the fact that our lives should be one big story. School, family life, sports, work, and friends should overlap and connect with Christ as our focus. Our lives should look the same to everyone we come in contact with.

The "x" in Connexion is actually a cross on our logo, with a highway extending beyond it. The point is that all roads in our life go towards and connect at the Cross!  Also, we want our ministry to be a place where all teens can easily attend and immediately feel connected to everyone!

Beyond our regular gatherings, we help students take their next steps in their faith through experiences such as mission trips, 30 hour famines, serving alongside community organizations, retreats, and any way we can help students serve others, grow closer to God, and continue following Christ.
